Island IT are Recruiting a Trainee
Island IT is looking for someone to join our growing team working in their service department.
As a Trainee Support Engineer you will be expected to help perform a number of duties on desktops, routers, servers and IT systems,
This position may be suitable for the right school or college leaver, or someone who has recently completed a relevant apprenticeship or similar learning e.g. CompTIA, MCDST etc.
Your application would really benefit from knowledge and / or experience with systems including:
Windows Server 2008, 2008r2 and 2012
Windows 7, 8 ,8.1, 10
HyperV
Terminal Services / Remote Desktop
Symantec Backup Exec
You should also mention any knowledge or experience of:
Networking, Routers, Switch Management, Wi-Fi Technologies
You should have a full clean driving licence and good GCSE or equivalent in English and maths. Good grades in ICT maybe a bonus.
